. .i've had leopard for a week now . . installed it on my other lap top G4
Not entirely satisfied with it . the widgets ( javascripts® ) seem to be
particularly frustrating . i use a combination of dial-up ( like now ) and
wi-fi , depending on needs . Is it just Google's crawlers that slow everything
everywhere down all the time or is it just me ? l o l . After all, we all know
that Google® is the neXt microsloth . .Spaces® doesn't do much for me, either
The N E W Finder is just ok and the search function has gone back wards in time
Original Sherlock® was better than Spotlight® . Time Machine ® ? Pƒƒt . . some of
us have always backed up data since forever n e ways . We keep it simple
i find Safari® intolerable , b t w . Especially the way it tries to handle bookmarks , now
i'd be interested to know your experiences with Leopard 10.5 if you use it •

Sun, August 24, 2008 - 11:59 AMI'm also underwhelmed by Leopard. I use several Macs: one at home and several at work. My main system at work is a new Mac Mini with Leopard installed.
My biggest complaint is the icon for the virtual server blows. It's stupid and hard to spot ... I always need to find the icon in a hurry... as I'm constantly dragging files to virtual cyberspace. I've tried a couple of third-party programs, but don't have time to mess with it.
Spaces looks like it's gonna take too much time to learn, so I'm bagging it for now. I think I'd like Time Machine ... as Macintosh has always had the worst OS ready backup software ever ... bleh. I'll post a review when I start using it.
Never liked Sherlock, so don't care about anything new. I haven't noticed any changes in Safari ... maybe I'm just not paying attention.
Looks like I won't be installing Leopard on my G4 powerbook at home ... nosirree.
So, ßunny gives Leopard 3 out of 5 ßunny biscuits. Not very good Apple!!!!

You can't even seem to change them in Leopard n e more .
.i was trying to post a jpg picture in the place of a plain folder icon and it just plain didn't work. .or i couldn;t figure out how to copy and paste it like i always used to
T Y V M for your response . .btw - go up to ^^ " Show View Options " ^^ when you are on the desktop
and try to make your icon size larger may be ? two steps forward, one step backwards
