I just got a new Macbook 13.3 and the front edges where your wrists go are extremely sharp. Now I've read all the stuff about proper typing form but there are plenty of times and situations where you actually have to rest your wrists on the "wrist rests" and it's painful. And from what I'm reading this appears to have been a design flaw for some time. What the "F" is up with this?
Is there anything I can do about it besides bitch?

Fri, March 28, 2008 - 2:48 PMLaptop ergonomics suck (even if you were to sand off the rough edge). I'd just get an external keyboard to plug in. A Bluetooth keyboard would give you even more flexibility. -

Re: New Macbook with razor sharp edges
Sun, March 30, 2008 - 10:29 AMOr you could do what I did and just take the edge off with a fine emery board - I used the kind that's a little foam block with different grits of the different sides and used one of the finer sides so it wouldn't leave any scratches. It's amazing how little it takes to make it much more comfortable.
